About Us

My passion for photography began as a teen and has blossomed over the past 25 years. Our walls are full of family photos, portraits of our children and even our pets too! I look at these images and truly realize their value - they are precious to me - I remember taking each one of them - where we were and the emotions we were feeling at the time. I often say - if our house was on fire, after I made sure my family and pets were safe, I'd then grab as many photos off the walls I could possibly carry!
Being a photographer isn't just schooling, technique and knowledge. Although definite building blocks to becoming a great photographer, there's more than just the technical aspects needed. It's passion, talent and the true love of viewing life as art and capturing it in an image that will tell the story that makes a great photographer an exceptional artist.
My husband, Jeff, is my assistant and people often joke with him about "working for his wife." His response? He loves it - we have FUN together and really enjoy what we do. My response? We are a team and I couldn't do what I do without him. What I love about the way we work together is that no words are necessary. We truly know each other that well! We've been happily married for almost 22 years, we have two awesome teenage boys and an animal for each member of the family. [Two Golden Retrievers named Napoleon and Dynamite and two cats Shaggy and Petey]. I won't mention our 17 year old's pet snake, Jessie. Oops....I just did!
I love people! It's important for us to get to know you. Not only does it make your shoot more relaxing, it creates an atmosphere in which you are comfortable around us. We are not strangers.
We are blessed too, that so many of our clients have become close friends. We treasure these friendships and consider ourselves very lucky indeed. Because, if you love what you do, you'll never work a day in your life - and if you're even luckier, you'll gain some wonderful friends along the way too.

Key West lodging fan - May 18, 2012 - 4:14 pm

Now that is some beautiful Key West lodging. I sure wouldn’t mind staying there for my honeymoon (provided the hubby doesn’t mind). I have actually always want to visit Florida, so maybe I’ll do that on my own after I graduate. Are there places like this near the ocean? I really want to visit the beach while I’m there, and maybe go running on the sand.
